TRADELINE
PHILIPPINES is a web-based interactive information system managed
by the Bureau of Export Trade Promotion (BETP) of the
Department
of Trade and Industry (DTI).
In response to the dynamism of the global digital economy,
it is designed to cater to the growing need of the Philippine
business sector for precise trade-related information, trade
statistics, exporter/supplier and local/foreign buyer listings,
and product and market profiles.
Tradeline's
operational infrastructure is maintained at the premises of the
BETP-DTI in Makati City, Philippines. It is regularly updated (almost
on a daily basis) as information is generated from various
sources, primarily by the concerned BETP-DTI offices and other
government agencies, and secondarily, from the BETP's private
business networks. Our
strategic partners include the National Statistics Office, the DTI
Bureau of Domestic Trade (BDT), and the DTI Bureau of Product
Standards (BPS).
Its
system is being managed and maintained by the Electronic Data
Processing Division of the BETP's Trade Information and
Assistance Group. Its
content contributors include the entire BETP organization, the
NSO's Industry and Trade Statistics Department, the Bureau of
Domestic Trade and, the Bureau of Product Standards.
