Convergys will expand operations in the Philippines by almost 50%

Convergys Corporation (www.convergys.com), with global headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio, will add five (5) new sites to its nine (9) existing contact centers in the Philippines.

Of the five (5) new sites, three will be located in Metro Manila, one will be in Cebu City, and one will be in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna- the first in the area. This development translates to an expansion of nearly 50% of Convergys contact center operations throughout the country.

The additional facilities will employ 7,000 Filipinos bringing the total of approximately 20,000 Filipino employees in Convergys contact center operations in the Philippines.

The new contact centers will provide general support and advanced technical help desk services to Convergys clients via traditional voice calling, e-mail, and Web chat as well as “back office” application and document processing.
